  1.  Do HeatProfile Heating Systems provide enough heat for my home?

HeatProfile Radiant Heating Systems are designed to provide you with the correct amount of uniform heat, when you require it & are full central heating systems.

  2. Can I replace existing Radiators with HeatProfile Radiant Skirting Heating?

HeatProfile Systems are easy to install & will require only a slight change in plumbing/electrics during installation. They are compatible with all central heating systems.

  3. If I add a conservatory to my home can I avoid altering my existing plumbing system?

HeatProfile supply both water & electric skirting - a good alternative where it's impractical to run pipework.

  4. Can HeatProfile Radiant Heating Systems be used in conjunction with under-floor heating?
  5. HeatProfile Systems can be used in conjunction with other systems in most cases, the company can check the products suitability for the application on request.

  6. Can HeatProfile Systems be used in rooms with curved walls or non standard angles?

Custom-made curved heating panels & matching aluminium corner, column and 'dog leg' shaped covers are routinely supplied as required.

  7. Can I have radiant heating inside patio doors or large openings?

HeatProfile panels are frequently either surface mounted or flush mounted along full height glazing, doorways & openings. The products are of adequately substantial construction for foot traffic & suitable for most applications. HeatProfile Florline heaters are recommended for high foot traffic areas that require an extremely hard wearing surface.

  8. What type of boiler do I need for HeatProfile Systems?

HeatProfile Systems are flexible & compatible to most boilers & existing heating systems. The company can check the suitability for application on request.

  9. Can HeatProfile Systems be used with heat pumps and solar panels?

Not in all cases due to the lower water temperature, but again we can check suitability on request.

  10. How is water in the HeatProfile System returned to the boiler?

Each circuit requires a 15mm flow & return pipe as per a conventional radiator.

  11. What colours are HeatProfile products available in?

The standard panel colour is RAL 9910 Hipca White, Gloss Level 30%. However, the panels can be supplied in any RAL colour along with special finishes such as wood & marble, on request.

  12. Does lime in water pose any treat to the HeatProfile Water Based System.

The aluminium panels are copper lined & fittings are constructed from brass, copper & stainless steel. The reliability & longevity of the products justify the cost associated with our quality material choice.

  13. How do HeatProfile Radiant Heating Systems compare to radiators?

HeatProfile Systems provide improved thermal comfort & a more economical use of energy than standard radiators.

  14. How do HeatProfile Systems produce even temperatures at low levels?

HeatProfile systems distribute heat from low level throughout the entire room, promoting natural convection & even temperature conditions whilst avoiding air turbulence.

  15. How do HeatProfile Radiant Heating Systems compare to under-floor heating systems?

HeatProfile systems are 'direct acting' radiant panels without the need to heat up a thermal mass so they are far more responsive than under-floor heating systems.

  16. How are HeatProfile Radiant Heating Systems Regulated?

HeatProfile Systems are controlled with TRVs or electric thermostats placed away from the heating panel to correctly measure & control the roof temperature.
